Wifi is the new best ever. The best ever cafes where the nerds hang out. You can only get reception if you go to the places that are the new best ever. What about all the other cafes without wifi? Not the new best ever. No signal, no networking, no dice!
It all makes me think of the debit card payment system in Canada. Some people will only go places where it is accepted so they never use cash. They track everything with software when the statements come in. Do they ever get to try flavour of the week though? Highly unlikely.
Screw the new best ever. I like the cafes that have the best food, and they usually accept cash. So easy! In Vancouver that means a lot of time in Gastown, on Main and to a certain extent Davie and Denman.
